We invite parents, educators, and those interested in parenting and child development to join us and talk about books that have had an impact on your parenting or teaching methods, and share interesting parenting tips and tried best practices. You can share and discuss this topic with your favorite book or borrow from our collection.
In this session, Amanda Tinnin, parent coach, and Dr. Kelly Nelson will lead the discussion on the book Strengths Based Parenting: Developing Your Children's Innate Talents, by Mary Reckmeyer.
Strengths Based Parenting focuses on identifying and understanding what your children are naturally good at and where they thrive—not on their weaknesses. The book also helps you uncover your own innate talents and effectively apply them to your individual parenting style.
