Calculus is the study of how things change. It provides a framework for modeling systems in which there are changes and a way to deduce predictions of such models. Calculus can tell us all about the motion of astronomical bodies, weather patterns, electric and electronic circuits and systems, and the movement of sound and light, to name a few. It has probably been useful in the invention of a great number of objects in your home.
In this series of events, we will answer some important questions about how calculus impacts the world. In this session, we will be introduced to differentiation.
All high school students are welcome to attend from all education systems (IG, IB, American and National).
The event will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.
