Our Children and Books
Children are born ready to learn, and by establishing an early relationship with books, they can take the first step on the rewarding path of lifelong learning.
The Library is offering a lecture to parents about early childhood development and children’s natural attraction towards print. You will learn how to evaluate different types of books and help your children pick out the appropriate books.
The librarian will also give simple but effective ideas on how to build home libraries and encourage reading throughout a family’s daily life.

How Should we Read to our Children?
The Library invites you to attend a lecture on how to read stories to children. In this lecture, you will learn five rules that will help you read stories in an interactive and loving way to children by understanding the story and its events and acting out its characters. The lecture will be presented by a librarian who will
discuss how we can benefit from modern children’s reading styles.
