Do you have a story to tell in English? This is your chance to write it. Join us for a month-long challenge to draft a 30,000 – 50,000-word novel on the following dates:

• Saturday, 8 November (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Saturday, 15 November (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Saturday, 22 November (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Saturday, 29 November (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

This workshop is organized by Qatar National Library (QNL) in collaboration with the Language Center at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). You will receive support during weekly sessions and through independent writing time. The sessions will challenge you to race against the clock to maximize your word count, with a variety of writing prompts to spark creativity.

By the end of the program, you will have a draft of a novel totaling 30,000 – 50,000 words, depending on your individual writing progress.

To receive a certificate of attendance, you must attend all four sessions.

"Write to Inspire" is a series that fosters writing and literature, bringing together authors and publishers through workshops, discussions, and community initiatives that support Qatar’s literary scene and encourage original writing.
