The world celebrates World Book and Copyright Day on the 23rd of April every year. The Library is pleased to host Abdul Rahman Ismail, Co-founder & COO of the Akhdar platform, which provides summaries of hundreds of famous and best-selling books in creative and simple ways. In this session, we will learn about the Akhdar Platform project, how the idea started, its objectives, applications, achievements, current and future projects, and global partnerships to spread knowledge and enhance reading through various activities in many countries. The event will highlight secrets of success of this cultural project that attracted more than one million subscribers on its YouTube channel. Opportunities and challenges for cultural projects in the Arab world will also be discussed.

The event will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.
