The Cultural Salon is a platform that promotes dialogue and communication with subject-matter experts, with the aim of creating a positive atmosphere that enriches culture and raises public awareness through a series of periodic events, organized in collaboration with Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

Join the second discussion which will be about Artificial Intelligence: Creative Freedom and Ethical Challenges. The session will be moderated by Dr. Ahmad Elmagarmid, Executive Director of Qatar Computing Research Institute, who will discuss the background of artificial intelligence.

The event will also feature. 

•    Dr. Ghanim Al-Sulaiti – AI expert at Qatar Computing Research Institute, who will talk about the advancement of artificial intelligence with reference to work, employment and functional aspects.

•    Dr. Mohammed Ghaly – Professor of Islamic Studies and Biomedical Ethics at the College of Islamic Studies at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, who will discuss eithical issues surrounding artificial intelligence.
