DESCRIPTION:**Due to the large attendance by children and parents\, Qatar National Library announces another day Tuesday\, July 17th  (3:30-6:30 pm)\, to receive your children’s books for exchange! You can bring the books your children have already read to the Children's Library where you get a ticket with the date for swapping them with new titles!**\nDoes your child have a pile of books they have already read? Do they wish they could exchange them for new titles? Bring those books to do that.\nHow to Participate\nStep One - Book Swap Drop off (on Friday\, 13 July 2018\, 4:00 - 7:00 PM)\nBring in the books you do not want any more to the Children’s Library. They can be in any language and type (like fiction\, non-fiction\, picture books\, graphic novels\, easy readers\, etc.).\nNotes\n\nBooks must be culturally appropriate & only gently used (cover on\, no rips or bent edges\, etc.)\nWorkbooks will not be accepted. (No coloring\, activity or sticker books please!)\nThe librarian has the right to accept or reject a submitted book for the swap.\n\nStep Two - Get tickets!\n\nThe Librarians will record the language\, type and number of books received (maximum of 5 books per child).\nOn 13 July\, each child will get a ticket with the details of the books turned in.\nThe ticket will have the assigned day for your exchange.\n\nNotes\n\nYou cannot participate in the book swap without having a ticket.\nYou will only be allowed to exchange on your book swap assigned day.\n\nStep Three - Book Swap Day (On Wednesday\, 18 July or Thursday\, 19 July\, from 3:00 – 6: 00 PM)\n\nBring your ticket and come to the Book Swap to select your “new” summer books!\nTo ensure fair exchange\, the books you will get will be equal in number and type to the books you brought in. For example\, if you brought in three English picture books\, you can select three “new” English picture books.\n\nNotes\nChoose your books carefully! The selection of books available is based on the books brought by the participating children in the Book Swap. Therefore\, the library can’t guarantee the availability of specific titles or authors. Any un-swapped books will be considered as donations to QNL Children’s Library\, and the librarians reserve the right to deal with them as they see appropriate.\nLanguage: Arabic and English\nTarget Audience: Children (0 to 12 year-olds)\nSeats are limited.
