SUMMARY:Heritage for Peace: Guidelines for COVID-19
DESCRIPTION:The IFLA Preservation and Conservation regional center at the Library is hosting a webinar on heritage guidelines for COVID-19 in Syria\, Iraq\, Yemen and Libya\, as developed by the organization Heritage for Peace. The heritage guidelines consist of three parts. In Part I\, three different heritage sectors and how they were affected by the present pandemic will be discussed: archaeological sites\, libraries and archives\, and museums. The approach is very practical and the guidelines list a wealth of resources.\nIn addition\, a number of projects undertaken by Heritage for Peace to protect heritage in the region will be discussed.\nSpeaker: Isber Sabrine\, chair and co-founder of the international NGO Heritage for Peace\nThe event will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.\nDate: 6 April 2021 \nTime: 4:00 – 5:30 PM \nLanguage: Arabic \nTarget Audience: Heritage professionals from MENA countries\nSeats are limited\, please click the button below to register.
