DESCRIPTION:IYPT2019 Brief: - 1869 is considered as the year of discovery of the Periodic System by the Russian scientist\, Dmitri Mendeleev. The IYPT 2019 also commemorates the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. The United Nations General Assembly during its 74th Plenary Meeting proclaimed 2019 as the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements (IYPT 2019) and adopted by the UNESCO General Conference at its 39th Session (39 C/decision 60). To recognize the importance of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements among school students\, as one of the most important and influential achievements in modern science\, Science India Forum-Qatar (SIFQ)\, is celebrating IYPT 2019 in collaboration with QF and TAMUQ for QF Schools & Indian Schools\, as an International Event.
