DESCRIPTION:Qatar National Library presents the second educational forum\, “Our Children Matter: Healthy Childhood\, Evolving Skills\,” bringing together leading experts to discuss how to empower everyone involved in nurturing children—parents\, teachers\, school librarians\, caregivers\, and others.\nThe forum focuses on strengthening early-childhood education skills\, supporting healthy development\, and building the cognitive and social capabilities children need for a promising future.\nThrough expert-led lectures\, participants will gain practical insights\, effective tools\, and inspiring guidance to build strong relationships with children and foster a lifelong love of learning.\nSpeakers\n\n\nPhD Researcher Ahmed Sbeata: Founder and CEO of Kydzzo\, one of the leading Arab and international platforms specializing in understanding children’s and adolescents’ behavior and training parents to manage it. A PhD researcher in Neurodevelopmental Disorders Intervention Programs (Clinical Psychology)\, he specializes in autism intervention and child and adolescent behavior.\n\n\nDr. Maryam Ibrahim Al-Shraim: An early-childhood education expert with a PhD and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education and two decades of experience establishing public kindergartens in Qatar. Her current work focuses on empowering educators and parents to nurture holistic\, balanced growth in the early years.\n\n\nMs. Heng Huey Bin: Principal Librarian (Children & Teens) Programs and Services\, National Library Board\, Singapore. She oversees strategic planning and the design and delivery of children’s and teens’ programs across Singapore’s public libraries\, including the nationwide Read@School initiative. Notable projects include The World and Us Zone (for children)\, TeenSpace\, and Book Bugs\, which promotes reading through play.\n\n\nA Q&A session with the speakers will follow the presentations.
