DESCRIPTION:This presentation will focus on traditional bookbinding techniques in Indonesia and will be a case study of a collection of Javanese and Javanese Arabic manuscripts in Yogyakarta.\nThis webinar will be delivered by Ms. Tarlen Handayani\, RUAS Indonesia program manager\, bookbinder and writer. As a community organizer in 2008\, Tarlen received a scholarship from the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) to observe community audience development at a museum in New York City.
