DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the Qatar-US Year of Culture 2021\, the Heritage Library will host the exhibition “Far from Home: Arab Immigrants in the US: Pursuing the American Dream\,” which will focus on the history of Arab immigration to the United States. In conjunction with the exhibition\, this webinar will provide an interesting discussion on works by Arab American writers and those addressing Arab American themes. We are excited to host two writers who won the Arab American Book Award in 2021\, which is presented annually by the Arab American National Museum.  \n\nSarah M.A. Gualtieri\, Arab Routes: Pathways to Syrian California\nHelen Zughaib\, Stories My Father Told Me\n\nDr. Matthew Stiffler\, Research and Content Manager at the Arab American National Museum\, will deliver the keynote speech. The webinar will be moderated by Yousef H.
