DESCRIPTION:This exhibition explores the history of Qatar through several family collections. It presents selected items from previously unseen private archives of photos\, artifacts and documents to show the role that individuals within a community can play in building its identity and preserving its heritage and history.\nThe exhibition displays the historical collections of several Qatari families\, offer deep insights into Qatar's journey to becoming the nation it is today for visitors of all backgrounds and nationalities.\nDate: 16 December 2018 – 31 January 2019\nThe Library will host an opening ceremony for the exhibition on its first day at 4:00 PM in the exhibition's venue.\nTime: During the Library’s opening hours\nVenue: Main Plaza\nLanguage: Arabic and English\nTarget Audience: General Public\nBoth the exhibition and opening ceremony are open to the public; no registration required.
