DESCRIPTION:In solidarity with the Palestinian people\, we invite you to attend a webinar on the Palestinian cause within the context of contemporary history. The focus will be on the rich heritage of Gaza.\nThe event will feature Dr. Abaher Elsakka\, a sociology professor at Birzeit University in Palestine. He will share excerpts from his book Gaza: A Social History under British Colonial Rule 1917-1948\, providing insights into the historical\, social\, and economic contexts of Gaza during this critical period.\nIbrahim Bajes\, a Jerusalem-based researcher\, will also discuss his work in documenting the history of various cities and villages in Palestine.
