Join us for this workshop with Sam Meekings, author of Wonder and Loss: A Practical Memoir for Writing about Grief, and discover how writing can become a path to healing. Together, we will explore how words can help us process grief, preserve cherished memories, and build resilience. Through guided prompts, practical exercises, and techniques from his book, participants will learn to transform personal experiences of loss into meaningful creative expression.
Sam Meekings is an acclaimed British writer and a widely cited Creative Writing scholar. His first novel, Under Fishbone Clouds—about the collision between myth and history in modern China—was called "a poetic evocation of the country and its people" by The New York Times.
