Language is a central characteristic of nations and the best way to communicate and transfer culture and civilization. The population of the Arabian Gulf region speaks the Gulf dialect of Arabic, and each country is distinguished by its vocabulary and accent. The Library, in cooperation with Georgetown University in Qatar, welcomes Mr. Hany Fazza, a specialist in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL), to shed light on the Qatari accent and share learning keys for non-native speakers.
