Qatar National Library, as the IFLA MENA Regional Office, invites you to the "Librarians for Libraries" program, which aims to develop librarianship skills in the MENA region through virtual sessions covering a variety of topics.

This session provides an overview of the key features of scholarly journals and the essential steps in the publishing process, from preparing manuscripts to submission and peer review. It also introduces the concept of predatory journals, offering guidance on how to identify and avoid them. In addition, it includes a hands-on practice session with supporting services for publishing in both Arabic and international journals, giving participants practical tools and experience to strengthen their publishing skills.

The event will be conducted online via Zoom.
