This session, wchich is part of the vibrant activities accompanying the exhibition, "The Art of Book-Making in Morocco", delves into the rich history and origins of Moroccan calligraphy while celebrating the renowned calligraphers who mastered the art of thuluth and Moroccan styles.
By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a solid foundation in Moroccan calligraphy, paving the way to further develop their skills in writing this distinctive script with precision and elegance.
Leading the workshop is Youssef Hussein Al-Mallah, a mathematics student at Qatar University's College of Education, who brings over six years of experience as a calligraphy practitioner and trainer.
As a special highlight, each participant will receive a personalized keepsake: their name beautifully written in Moroccan calligraphy by Mr. Al-Mallah.
