Join us for the fifth meeting of the English Fiction Book Club, where we will discuss Moloka'i, by Alan Brennert. The epic novel, set in Hawai'i, traces the story of Rachel Kalama, a young girl whose dreams of the sea are dashed when she is sent to the titular leprosy colony. There, where her life is supposed to end, she discovers it is only just beginning. Copies of the book will be available at the User Services Desk.
