Qatar National Library, as the IFLA MENA Regional Office, invites you to the "Librarians for Libraries" program, which aims to develop librarianship skills in the MENA region through virtual sessions covering a variety of topics.

This session aims to explore the evolving role of the academic library as a central hub for fostering competency-based skills in preparation for the workplace and beyond the classroom. Participants will gain in-depth insights into how libraries can move beyond traditional resource provision to actively support skill development, enhance student success, and serve as catalysts for lifelong learning. Real-life examples will be demonstrated from Kuwait Technical College’s (KTech) Library.

The event will be conducted online via Zoom.
