Qatar National Library, in collaboration with Little Thinking Minds, is pleased to announce the Sports Information Challenge. The competition will involve children reading some short essays and then answering corresponding questions.

Please note the following conditions: 

• To take part, participants must be 10-14 years old
• You must have a valid Library membership.
• The competition will run from 20 November to 20 December (the final date for submissions)
• Winners will be announced in January.

How to participate:

• To become a member, please visit https://www.qnl.qa/en/library-services/become-a-member.
• Log in to our website and visit I Read Arabic.
• Read the appropriate article for each question and submit your answers on the form. 

To access the ‘I Read Arabic’ database:

• Log in to the website and click on the ‘Our Children’s Online Resources’ tile from the homepage.
• Search for and then click on the ‘I Read Arabic’ database.
• Select the 'Library' icon on the left hand side of the page.
• Select the ‘Genres’ tile.
• Click the ‘Essays’ tile.
