The Embassy of South Africa, in collaboration with Qatar National Library, is screening two movies that focus on the injustice of apartheid and the fight to end it.

Join us at QNL for a screening of “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom”, a film that follows the inspirational, triumphant story of anti-apartheid activist, Nelson Mandela. Imprisoned for decades, Mandela went on to win the Nobel Peace Prize and become the first black president of South Africa.

Starring Idris Elba as Mandela and released in 2013, the film shares the tremendous impact of a beloved human rights icon.
