This event is part of the celebration of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture, highlighting the richness of Moroccan history through archival collections.
In this lecture we will explore and showcase Morocco’s rich and diverse civilization, using a variety of archival and documentary materials preserved in the Heritage Library.
This collection reflects the centuries-old relationship between the lands of the Islamic East, particularly the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, and the distant lands of Morocco, which were often mentioned but rarely visited.
The virtual lecture will be presented via Zoom by Dr. Moez Al-Dridi.
