This session goes beyond basic tool demonstrations to help researchers strategically and ethically integrate AI throughout the research cycle. Participants will learn effective prompting techniques for generating accurate, high-quality outputs, understand how to recognize and manage common risks such as hallucinations, bias, plagiarism, over-reliance, and misinterpretation, and explore best practices for using AI responsibly—supporting their work, not replacing their thinking.
This workshop is part of the LiteracyEssentials@QNL series, which supports lifelong learning by strengthening library skills, information and digital literacy, and fundamental research competencies.
The event will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.
