Join us at Qatar National Library for the official signing ceremony establishing the Library as the first MENA Regional Office for the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), a vital step in promoting and enhancing library services across the region.

Day 1 will begin with a formal signing ceremony, commemorating this new partnership. Following the keynote speech, a panel discussion on “Partnership and Global Librarianship: Opportunities and Challenges” will bring together international and regional leaders in librarianship. 

Day 2 will feature a series of interactive workshops and lectures led by experts from the region and beyond. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in sessions focusing on enhancing library capabilities, building networks for future collaboration and understanding the social and cultural impacts of libraries in MENA.
