Librarians for Libraries: Assistive Technology in Libraries in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (in Arabic)

Qatar National Library, as the IFLA MENA Regional Office, invites you to the "Librarians for Libraries" program, which aims to develop librarianship skills in the MENA region through virtual sessions covering a variety of topics.

The workshop will review the most important assistive technology techniques used in transferring information in all its forms, with a focus on hardware and software used in the Arab libraries. It will also explain the changes brought about by AI in the development of this technology in libraries, and attempt to answer the question: "How can libraries leverage assistive technology to enhance information services for users with disabilities?"

The event will be conducted online via Zoom.
