This transformative workshop is being held in collaboration with the Mazameen Foundation and the Just Media Foundation.
The event aims to equip a diverse range of participants, including students, aspiring journalists, content creators and professionals, with vital media literacy skills, empowering them as responsible digital citizens. This will be a four-hour session.
Trainers include:
- Masihuzzama Ansari, editor at India Tomorrow and founder of the Just Media Foundation
- Aditya Menon, former journalist at India Today, Rajasthan Patrika and NDTV and now at The Quint
- Sana Amir, a multimedia producer and media educator currently working with Himal News
- Irfan Waheed, a writer and poet and co-founder of the Mazameen Foundation
The workshop will conclude with a keynote speech by the lawyer and politician Kapil Sibal, titled "Media Discourse in the 21st Century", in the Library's Special Events Area.
