Join Qatar National Library’s 2025 Summer Reading Challenge! An exciting journey of reading and exploration awaits!

This competition aims to encourage children and young adults in Qatar to read more books and develop a love for reading before writing their own story with the vocabulary they've acquired. Great prizes await the best entries - don't miss the chance to be among Qatar's elite readers! 

Entry Requirements: 

• Participants must be between the ages of 6 and 14 
• Participants must be residents of Qatar 
• Participants must have a Qatar National Library membership 

Key Dates: 

• The competition runs for 6 weeks 
• Start date: 1 July 2025 
• End date: 15 August 2025 
• Winners will be announced in September 2025 

How to Register: 

• Registration is through this registration link.
• Participants must fill in all their information, including full name, age, email address and phone number.
• Accounts will be created for participants based on the submitted information and sent to them by email to start the competition.

Winners and Prizes: 

• Six winners will be selected based on the number of books they have read, the quizzes they have taken and the submission of a story by following the steps in this link.
  • Three from the 6-10 age group
  • Three from the 11-14 age group
•  All participants will receive certificates.
• Six prizes are up for grabs, including smartwatches and tablets.
• Winners will also be honored by having their names published on the Library's website and social media.
