Join us for an enriching online study day at Qatar National Library as we delve into the world of historical manuscripts and documents. This event is part of our ongoing series, "Manuscripts of Qatar National Library," which began in 2020 and aims to explore the rich heritage preserved within our collections.
During this event, participants will examine the differences between manuscripts and documents, and the methodologies for dealing with each.
The study day will address the following questions:
- How do we locate manuscripts and documents?
- What is the approach to accessing them, and what is the methodology for dealing with each?
- What research tools and skills are required?
- How do we read manuscripts and documents?
