Qatar Reads is hosting a panel discussion on Men in the Sun, by the renowned Palistinian author Ghassan Kanafani. The novella is the chosen book for Qatar Reads' annual One Book, One Doha campaign.

The expert speakers will discuss the book from a literary perspective, analyze the historical and political context of the story, and they will situate Kanafani’s novel in the framework of his other works. The event also aims to shed light on other influential works of Palestinian literature, which is especially important in the current circumstances.
