Join us for a storytime and creative workshop inspired by María Elena Walsh, the beloved Argentine author of children’s stories and poems.
We’ll explore her classic book Canciones para Mirar and the popular story Manuelita, Where Are You Going? Children will experience the magic of stories and characters through a short poem that sparks curiosity and a love for Spanish literature.
The workshop includes making a character passport, where kids can add stamps representing the places the character visited as well as their own home countries.
The activity will be accompanied by a song, available in both Spanish and English. At the end, each child will receive a handmade felt bookmark.
A fun and engaging way to explore Spanish language, music and storytelling!
