Join us for our second community read and virtual book discussion on the novel that won the Man Booker International prize in 2019, as we host virtually the Omani author Jokha ALharthi. ALharthi’s novel, Celestial Bodies, is a story that sheds light on the social and economic transformations of life in Oman after the discovery of oil; and how these changes were reflected on the lives of three sisters who take the leading role in this novel.
