In this workshop, learn how action research is a powerful system that can be used to evaluate your practice, your professional decisions, your program goals and your ideas. With a special focus on using existing empirical research to craft action research investigations. Participants will explore the ways action research is used to identify the whys and evaluate the hows of professional practice.
This session will be led by Dr. Mega Subramaniam, a Professor and Associate Dean for Faculty at the iSchool - College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland. Her research interests center on school and public libraries as effective learning environments.
